Pick Your Own!

I don’t know about your neck of the woods at all but in my area we have lots of farms that are advertising “Pick Your Own” blueberries right now. I love this time of year when the farm stands unfold, farmers markets arrive and lots of wonderful homegrown treats abound!

Some of you may not be able to eat all the berries you can pick and in order to prevent them from spoling you google up some recipes to make. I looked around for some healthy muffin recipes to replace those cardboard recreations sold at Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks and could not find many at all. My co-author to Squeaky Gourmet managed to create a wonderful one that she shared with me and I wanted to share it with you! After all, it is not every day you can fill your belly with 4 deliscious muffins and still be under 350 calories–oh and yeah, they taste amazing!
