Imagine if you could do anything you wanted without being held accountable for it. What would you do?
Ok that is really not even the point of the blog entry but it was a fun exercise of thought anyway, wasn’t it? Pull yourself back to reality now because we know we can’t do anything we want with out SOME accountability to it. We have laws and social order to keep us pulling our own weight around this world.
However, when it comes to our own health-we are held accountable to who? If we were in a 12 step recovery program we would have partners or people to contact if we felt were were on the brink of self destructive behavior. However, when it comes to our own fitness we let ourselves maintain the control. But-weren’t we the ones in charge when it all went out of control? So, is it REALLY such a good idea to keep that same person on charge of the wellness path? I am not saying every one run out and hire a wellness coach. In our economy we are lucky to have a gym membership let alone a $200 a call wellness coach. So, what can we do to give us more accountability in our diet and fitness goals? Come on..this is so baited…I have asked you readers this before.
